How do I pay for the course, and what if the payment fails?
In the parent area open "Course" (or "Course checkout"), choose how many lessons a week, a plan and how to pay, check in the summary how much is charged today and tap "Go to payment". Payment is by credit card, and the card details are kept by the payment provider. The payment was not completed? On the "Course" page tap "Try again".
Step by step
- In the parent area open "Course". If there is no course yet, "Course checkout" opens. After the trial lesson you can also start from the trial lesson's card, with the "Continue with" button and the teacher's name.
- In "Who will study" choose your child.
- In "How many lessons a week" choose the number of lessons.
- In "Plan" choose "Monthly", "6 months" or "12 months".
- For a 6- or 12-month course, in "How to pay" choose "Pay at once" or "Pay monthly".
- Have a promo code? Tap "Have a promo code?".
- In "Your order" check "Charged today" and the line about the renewal, tick the consent box and tap "Go to payment".
- Enter the card details on the payment page.
How you know it worked
The "Course" page shows "Payment received. Your child's course has started." and "Next step: choose the lesson times.". Tap "Set up the weekly schedule".
The payment confirmation goes to the e-mail you entered, and the payments are listed on the "Course" page. For each payment you can tap "Download invoice".
Something not working?
"The payment was not completed, and nothing was charged." appears
tap "Try again" and you come back to the same plan.
"The payment is being confirmed" appears
don't pay again. Refresh the "Course" page in a minute.
The message that your child's first payment did not go through appears
the course has not started yet. You can tap "Pay now" on the same plan, or "Choose a different plan".
"Payment failed" appears on an active course
the lessons are frozen until the debt is paid. Tap the payment button in the notice, and the lessons come back.
Charged twice, or you paid and there is no course
