How do we check the camera and sound before the lesson?
Open "Camera and sound check" on the computer or tablet the lesson will be on, allow access to the camera and microphone, speak and check that the bars move, and tap the bell to hear it. The check records nothing.
Step by step
- On the lesson device open "Camera and sound check" (also from the "Check the camera and sound" link on the trial lesson confirmation page).
- Allow access to the camera and microphone. You should see yourself.
- Speak and check that the bars move.
- Tap the bell. "Can you hear the bell?" Tap "Yes!". "Great, your sound works!" appears.
How you know it worked
You see yourself, the bars move when you speak, and "Great, your sound works!" appears.
