Lessons left, renewal and ending the course: how does it work?
The "Course" page shows how many lessons are left and when the next payment is. The course renews automatically at the end of every term until you turn the renewal off, and we write to you before it renews. Don't want another term? Tap "Turn off renewal", and all paid lessons stay until the end of the term.
Step by step
- In the parent area open "Course".
- At the top you see "Lessons left" and "Next payment". Every lesson that took place comes off the course, and a lesson cancelled in time goes back to the course.
- The "Renewal" part says when the next term starts and on which plan.
- Don't want another term? Tap "Turn off renewal". The page says: "Turning it off takes nothing away: every lesson you have paid for stays with you until the end of the term." You can turn the renewal on again with "Turn renewal back on".
- Want to change the number of lessons or the length of the course for the next term? Tap "Change plan".
Before the renewal
For a 6- or 12-month course we write to you 14 days before it renews. For the monthly plan we remind you before its first renewal.
How you know it worked
After "Turn off renewal" the "Renewal" part says: "Renewal is off, the course ends when the term does".
Something not working?
You want to end the course early
on the "Course" page, under "End the course early", tap "Send a request". Speakykid support writes to you about the money and the lessons left before anything changes.
You changed your mind right after buying
the "Course" page shows "Cancel the purchase" with the conditions and the last date. The full conditions are in the Terms of Use.
Family order (several children in one payment)
turning off the renewal applies to every profile in the order. To change the course of one profile only, write to support@speakykid.com.
